My tummy at 27 weeks!!!

So I am now definetly prego- people talk to my belly, try to touch my belly and comment on how big I am. Gotta love people. Well I figured I better get some pictures of this 'wonderful' time. I am not sure exactly why people love being prego....??? I know that it is supposed to be so awesome, but so far I am not a big fan. Don't get me wrong I don't hate it but I don't love it either. My favorite thing would have to be watching my belly move around (when I am not trying to sleep=) Kendall keeps asking how much bigger it is going to get??? Well we are only at 27 weeks so I think that whale Julie will soon be a blimp Julie.

So Kyla's newest thing is to kick constantly, my poor tummy feels like a punching bag. She especially kicks if you touch my stomach: resting my arms on it will quickly start the kicking. The best is if Kendall puts his face on my tummy, he does it so gently but she will still feel it and kick him right away. He was amazed last night at how strong she is getting. We are thinking she is really either a) saying my belly back off or b) playing tag with us. Either way she is very active and alert (who would've thunk?). We are starting to realize just how close we are getting to 'meeting' her for the first time. I think I only have 12 weeks left at work, that seems sooo crazy. We are starting to get ready!! I am so excited to go shopping in Great Falls with Allie and Steve in a couple weeks. Hopefully we will find some good deals- any advice?

FINALLY!!!

Kendall is finally an offical Journeyman Plumber and Gasfitter!!
It has taken a while, due to some problems with a previous employer, but now it is all offical. We are so lucky that his new employer has connections and loves Kendall, he did so much work for us.
I am so proud of Kendall, he has worked really hard to acheive this. Great job hun!!!

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN TOGETHER? Married for 1.5 years

HOW LONG DID YOU DATE? 8 months, but it seemed like a long time to us=)

WHERE DID YOU MEET? At my house in Lethbridge, he came to see his sister (Alyson) who was my roommate. We all went to a YSA and just hung out.

HOW OLD IS HE? 26

WHO EATS MORE? Definetly Kendall, just when you think he can't eat more he'll make a bowl of cereal.

WHO SAID I LOVE YOU FIRST? I don't really remember.

WHO IS TALLER? Kendall

WHO SINGS BETTER? Probably me, but mostly because when he sings he's being silly.

WHO IS SMARTER? I am good with numbers and he is good with mechanical/practical things.

WHO DOES THE LAUNDRY? We do our own.

WHO DOES THE DISHES? Both of us.

WHO SLEEPS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BED? Right now me, because I have to (prego). But normally Kendall does.

WHO PAYS THE BILLS? Me.

WHO DRIVES WHEN YOU ARE TOGETHER? Kendall about 99% of the time. I only drive when he's too tired to drive.

WHO IS MORE STUBBORN? That is me for sure, Kendall only has a few issues that he won't give on.

WHO KISSED WHO FIRST? He kissed me first.

WHO ASKED WHO OUT? Well Kendall asked me, but only when Alyson decided he could (that's a whole other story=)

WHO PROPOSED? Kendall. We went to Leavitt Ranch for the May Long, he took me up on the ridge and knelt down on the rocks. It was so sweet, and romatic (this was right at sunset). It was funny because he was trying to leave with me, but my little sister Natalie wanted to come with us, of course she couldn't.

WHO IS MORE SENSITIVE? Me for sure, especially with these baby hormones.

WHO HAS MORE FRIENDS? We don't really have a huge group of friends...either of us. We have a few close friends that we love and that's it.

WHO HAS MORE SIBLINGS? Kendall has four sisters, so he wins.

WHO WEARS THE PANTS IN THE FAMILY? It's pretty equal. I am quite a bit more bossy though (who would've thought).

Everything is changing!!

And it's not just my waist!!! Well with the baby coming everything seems to be different. Kendall noticed that at christmas 'Kyla Lynn' got more presents than we did (what can I say she is spoiled already). It seems every conversation is a about babies and everyone we know is pregnant: Tara, Ashlee, Rachel, Mindy (2x), Alyson, Ashley, Iysha, Meg, Kelly........ need I say more. I think that there is something in the water. Also we are getting more serious about buying a house, in fact we looked at four in Okotoks today. It is a very overwhelming and exciting experience. We still have to work out getting out of our 1 year rental and finding Tara a place too. Anyway, I will try to be better at updating this thing.
